If This Then That  If This Then That, also known as IFTTT, is a free web-based service to create chains of simple conditional statements, called applets. An applet is triggered by changes that occur within other web services such as Gmail, Facebook, Telegram, Instagram, or Pinterest. IFTTT is a free platform that helps you do more with all your apps and devices. Applets are connections you can turn on between different apps & devices. Really cool for web developers and anyone tech savvy enough to want more control over their software. In addition to the web-based application, the service runs on iOS and Android. The setup is very intuitive. Here are some of the options presented to me once I chose android and Gmail applets. This is such an impressive platform.

3rd annual  Girls, Gigabytes & Gadgets Tech Summit The NOBEL Women of Baton Rouge are excited to bring this event to our community with one simple message: Women aren't just to be users of technology, but creators, designers, and influencers as well. T he majority of girls and  young   women  who pursue  STEM  studies have been influenced and encouraged  to do so by family, teachers, and other significant adults and programs like Girls, Gigabytes and Gadgets.  I'm very excited about the 3rd annual  Girls, Gigabytes & Gadgets Tech Summit 2018! I will be participating in a panel discussion and my focus will be on demystifying Computer Science . I believe every student should have the opportunity to learn computer science.
