♦ A DevOps world!
It's been said that Companies that incorporate DevOps practices get more done. With some practical insight and many years of working without DevOps, I can agree.
It's not the work that changes but the impact of your work package that changes. Who sees your progress, how to measure progress and how to determine emerging trends in your product. These are all of the benefits I've personally experienced. Here's an overview for anyone who's just getting started.

Key Benefits:
Traditionally, Dev and Ops never could see eye to eye. So, if you take a practical view, DevOps addresses the difficulties in bringing together people, process and technologies under one umbrella.
DevOps can help your organization accelerate application delivery and save time with automation and standardization. It facilitates a High Speed SDLC. Faster Deployment. Speed Innovation.
It helps us accelerate the feature deployment process with increased automation using open source or licensed tools at every stage of delivery lifecycle which includes development, QA, on-demand environment provisioning, production deployment, and gathering new requirements to make applications more customer-centric. DevOps brings together all these organizations and silos, thereby making process of software deployment very lean.
There are many products on the market to help you get started. I've used several and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. My advice is to attend free webinars, test drive technologies and make sure that the product you use addresses 90% of what you need. Plugins can help with the rest.
