Online Scam sites are living their best life. I’m normally pretty good about identifying and avoiding these companies. However, my husband was tricked recently and received an uneven child sized monstrosity from China. He chalked it up to a lesson learned. Recently, as I’ve been researching ethical computing and online scammers, I’m finding my tolerance for these type of scammers is dwindling. I’m offended by these scammers infiltrating our markets and targeting Americans. All of the major players have allowed their platforms to be inundated with these bogus scam companies and innocent, unsuspecting people are the victims. Google AdSense sells these bogus companies ad space so that they infiltrate all of your social media apps with targeted ads, while Amazon allows these illegitimate scammers to setup storefronts with fake reviews to further scam consumers.
